This was the event at which the iconic “all siblings” photo was taken. The nature of the event is uncertain, so my default speculation, awaiting corroboration, is that it was the 50th wedding anniversary of Antonino and Anna. They were married in 1907, which would put the date at 1957, seeming to match well with the appearances of some of the guests (Philip, born in 1942, looks around 15-ish). Fingers crossed but not expecting correct identifications for some of the old-timers; life is full of surprises. Of all the photos of Antonino, this is him at his smiling-est.
